In which we win!

We played softball tonight. Darlene, the kids, and Kayvontay (Steven's friend from school) came and cheered us on, and we won! We beat Exide SuperCranks 11-9, mainly because their starting pitcher couldn't throw strikes.I played catcher again, and actually tagged someone out at the plate! Whoo! I also had a massive collision with our pitcher when we both chased a pop fly and neither of us called it. She held onto it for the out, though. I had another good night at the plate, 2-2 and reached on a fielder's choice the third time. 1 RBI, scored 2 runs. Not too shabby.

This was the first game ever won by CPS on the field in this league. The last team was 1-9, and that win was a forfiet. A historic night, and I was glad to be part of it. Our record is 1-2, and we're all looking forward to next week! See you there!
